DESCRIPTION

The TRAILSKY TM36 marathon is a race that has everything a skyrunner loves: hard, but not very long climbs; running trails, technical descents; a scenery that traverses forests, dams and that offers spectacular views at all times; bigger percentage of ascents than descents; and an ending by Playa de Mogán, all of which will allow you to enjoy this race to its fullest in its 36 Km. tour around the island.

More than an 84% of this route is made up of trails, the asphalt sections being found mainly in the start and finish of the race.

This route travels through the two big municipalities of the island. It begins in the beautiful and welcoming town of Tunte (San Bartolomé de Tirajana), makes an ascent through the route of Santiago to the Degollada de Cruz Grande, Presa de Chira, Presa de Soria, Presa de Salto del Perro. Ascends to Montaña de Tauro and finishes next to Plata de Mogán.

REFRESHMENT POINTS, PACES AND CUTTING TIMES

There will be 4 refreshment points available for the TRAILSKY TM36 runners throughout the race, the last 2 providing showers for the participants to cool down.

  • Sky Gold Men (50 a 59 years) inclusive of both ages
  • Sky Gold Women (50 a 59 years) inclusive of both ages
  • Sky Platinum men (60 years old and over)
  • Sky Platinum women (60 years old and over)

Prizes are non-cumulative meaning that, for example, the 4th runner of an age group can be first, second or third of his/her group if the winner/s of the general ranking are from his/her same age group.
